my boyfriend accompanied me to the craft store over the weekend and saw a quote on the wall that said "stop pinning and start creating" written in very whimsical font. (i think there were even starbursts surrounding it.) he thought that was particularly hilarious, and you know what? it's true. stop pinning. start creating. i'm telling that more to myself than to you. and here are a few starbursts to really get you going. ******

  2. I absolutely love all of these- especially the first and third ones!! I know exactly what you mean though. I always pin pictures of recipes, crafts, and photography projects that I say I'm going to do but then just end up pinning loads of inspiration. Of course it's great to spend hours on Pinterest getting inspired but there comes a time when you need to start doing the things that inspire you. What's next on your craft to-do list?! P.s. I need to send you an email soon- it's been too long since we've caught up :)

    1. i agree! i kind of get lost in all of the pins and boards. i sometimes go through my own boards and forget some amazing stuff that i have pinned! maybe that would be a good new years resolution? hmmm...i would love an email from you! i feel so out of the blog world these days. what do you do to get out of a blogging slump? well, it's part slump and part I HAVE NO TIME. haha. i am amazed at all of the blogging mamas/wifeys who seem to blog effortlessly. somebody needs to spill their secrets. :-) are you enjoying the christmas season miss?? (p.s. your blog is the only blog i am checking up on consistently these days. you are that cool!)

    2. I know what you mean about blogging slumps!! Some days I am just not inspired at all. It's helped that I haven't been pressuring myself to blog everyday but instead trying to do four posts a week. Even then it can still be hard to think of ideas! I'm with you though- I don't understand how some mamas and wives do it all and make it look so effortless! Sometimes I just need a day to browse the internet and by looking at some of my favorite blogs I become more inspired to post things. I am enjoying the Christmas season, but I feel like it is flying by! I am headed to NYC tomorrow for the day and hope that I can soak up all of the Christmassy goodness! How about you?! Any fun plans for the holiday season?! And I am so honored that you still check out my blog- it's always so flattering to me that such a cool chick likes my little posts :)
